FAQs

  • Hypnosis is a natural, focused state of attention — a bit like being completely absorbed in a good book or film. In that state, your mind becomes more open to positive change. It’s not about losing control or being “put under,” but about gaining access to the part of your mind that runs your automatic habits and emotional responses. Habits, fears and phobias are learned patterns, often reinforced by long-standing beliefs that lead to avoidance, procrastination, self-doubt, or feeling stuck.
For example, someone who wants to stop smoking might know they want to quit, yet their subconscious still connects cigarettes with comfort or stress relief. Hypnosis helps to reset your mind and update those old associations so the habit simply loses its pull. Old associations can fade and new, healthier ones can take their place.

The same process can help you grow in confidence, let go of fears, and create lasting change in the way you think, feel and show up in the wold.

It is a safe, evidence-based approach, widely studied and used in clinical and therapeutic settings to support lasting behavioural and emotional change.

For most people, hypnosis sessions are a calm and relaxing experience. All you need to do is listen, use your imagination and let the process unfold in its own time. The more open you are to the experience, the more you get out of it. You may notice emotions surfacing, vivid images, or a deep sense of calm — all beautiful signs that your subconscious mind is working, processing, and letting go.

Real transformation doesn’t have to be heavy or painful.
It can feel freeing, empowering, and surprisingly light.

  • The first step is always a 15 - 30 minute consultation call, where we can find out whether we are a good fit to work together. It is important that we both feel a connection on some level.

If we decide that we are a good match, we will schedule your 90 minute sessions, usually 1 per week for 4 weeks.

Each session is designed to create a focused internal reset. We identify the pattern that needs changing, interrupt it at a subconscious level, and install a more useful response to help you regain control and move forward. My method is warm, calm and relaxing but has a clear goal - to put you back into the driver’s seat.

RESET HYPNOSIS is not about lengthy analysis or spirituality. I am very interested in the neuroscience behind the way hypnosis can help with rapid change. I will guide you into a relaxed state where your subconscious is able to listen and respond to suggestions. This is a very safe and collaborative process. You are in full control and you can come out of hypnosis by yourself at any point in time, if anything feels uncomfortable. All you need to do is sit or lie in a comfortable chair or sofa, follow my voice and use your imagination.

At the end of a 90 minute session I recommend you take another 30 minutes to yourself, drink lots of water and take a short rest.

  • The process usually takes place over the course of one month, structured into four private 1:1 sessions.

During the first session we aim to get to the root cause of the problem and start to implement change. In the 2nd and 3rd session we keep working on changing old habits and response patterns. The 4th session is all about creating lasting impact. Some people ask for an additional session to learn self hypnosis techniques.

Neuroscience research studies point to 3 - 4 weeks as a meaningful window for noticeable change. Which is why I don’t believe in the ‘single session cure’ that some Hypnotists offer.

Some clients choose to integrate the RESET Protocol method into their lives over several months on an ongoing basis.

  • Yes. It is very powerful to listen to the hypnosis via headphones, it’s clear and close up. I use music and sound frequencies that deepen the hypnotic experience, which has proven to be very effective and more relaxing.

If you prefer in-person sessions I can arrange that in Berlin. For in-person sessions anywhere in the world, travel costs are added to my fee.

  • No. The idea is for you to regain control over your life.

My role is to guide you through the therapeutic process towards a positive outcome. You will participate in every step along the way, always in control as to whether you want to stop or continue.

  • No. Hypnosis is not about being ‘put under’, it is about re-gaining control.

You will be aware of everything that’s going on.

Hypnosis is a bit like day dreaming, similar to being absorbed in a movie, where you're very aware internally but detached from surroundings.

My style of hypnosis is meditative, calm, slow paced, relaxing and deep. I’m proud to say that, so far, all clients who claimed they were ‘not hypnotisable’ have been surprised by how profound the experience was and how easily they were able to relax into it.

  • Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) therapy is

a psychological approach that analyzes the relationship between language, behavior, and thought patterns to help people achieve specific personal goals. It focuses on "reprogramming" unconscious habits and reframing limiting beliefs, treating issues like anxiety, phobias, and low self-esteem through practical, solution-focused techniques.

  • No. It is a complementary method for personal development and change. It does not replace medical or psycho-therapeutic treatment and no diagnosis or treatment of illness is provided.

  • No.

I don’t actually want to know them! Usually clients don’t talk at all during hypnosis. Once we have discussed your problem and we begin the hypnotic experience you will just listen to my voice. You can come out of hypnosis any time if something feels uncomfortable.

  • Wrong! There is a big difference between gullibility and suggestibility  I am simply guiding you to relax, and asking you to follow my instructions and suggestions. I can’t force you to do it, or do it for you. The more you are willing to roll with it and are open to new experiences, the more you get out of it.

  • I enjoy helping people make positive, lasting changes through hypnosis — and your wellbeing always comes first. For most people, hypnosis is a gentle, safe, and deeply relaxing experience. However, there are a few situations where it wouldn’t be appropriate.
If you have any medical conditions, please check with your doctor before booking a session. I don’t work with clients who have been diagnosed with psychosis, schizophrenia, pathological personality disorders, or senility.

If you experience epilepsy, narcolepsy, depression, PTS, asthma, or a heart condition, hypnosis may still be suitable — but I ask that you seek your doctor’s approval before we begin.

For anyone under the age 18, I will work closely with the guardians, to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. During the sessions parents will not be present but I will stay in close contact with you and am available to answer questions.
