What is hypnosis?
Real change starts in the mind — and hypnosis helps you unlock it.
Hypnosis is a natural, focused state of attention — a bit like being completely absorbed in a good book or film. In that state, your mind becomes more open to positive change. It’s not about losing control or being “put under,” but about gaining access to the part of your mind that runs your automatic habits and emotional responses.
For example, someone who wants to stop smoking might know they want to quit, yet their subconscious still connects cigarettes with comfort or stress relief. Hypnosis helps to reset your mind and update those old associations so the habit simply loses its pull. Old associations can fade and new, healthier ones can take their place.
The same process can help you grow in confidence, let go of fears, and create lasting change in the way you think, feel and show up in the wold.
For most people, hypnosis sessions are a calm and relaxing experience. All you need to do is listen, use your imagination and let the process unfold in its own time. The more open you are to the experience, the more you get out of it. You may notice emotions surfacing, vivid images, or a deep sense of calm — all beautiful signs that your subconscious mind is working, processing, and letting go.
Real transformation doesn’t have to be heavy or painful.
It can feel freeing, empowering, and surprisingly light.
Where do the sessions take place?
Most of the 1:1 sessions with my clients happen online on Zoom. This has proven to be highly effective as I work with sound frequencies via your headphones that deepen the experience, in the comfort of your own home and at times that suit you. All you need is a stable internet connection, head phones, a space where you can sit or lie comfortably and where nobody disturbs you during the time we have together. Each session lasts approximately 75 to 90 minutes. These sessions are tailored to your specific needs.
The first step is usually a free 15min call to discuss what you want to focus on and to answer any questions you might have.. If we decide to work together, you will be able to book a suitable timeslot via my booking calendar and receive a zoom link once the full payment has been received.
Occasionally, I host group sessions or events for people who want to let go of specific fears or phobias and I will be running retreats in the near future. More details will follow soon.
DISCLAIMER -A note on safety
I love helping people make positive, lasting changes through hypnosis — and your wellbeing always comes first. For most people, hypnosis is a gentle, safe, and deeply relaxing experience. However, there are a few situations where it wouldn’t be appropriate.
If you have any medical conditions, please check with your doctor before booking a session. I don’t work with clients who have been diagnosed with psychosis, schizophrenia, pathological personality disorders, or senility.
If you experience epilepsy, narcolepsy, depression, PTS, asthma, or a heart condition, hypnosis may still be suitable — but I ask that you seek your doctor’s approval before we begin.
For anyone under the age 18, I will work closely with the guardians, to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. During the sessions parents will not be present but I will stay in close contact with you and am available to answer questions.
